This five-week course explores the fascinating journey of the Bible from its ancient origins to its present form as the most widely read and influential book in history. Students will study how the Scriptures were written, preserved, transmitted, translated, and canonized across centuries. The course will highlight the historical, cultural, and religious contexts that shaped the Old and New Testaments, examine the role of scribes and translators, and trace the development of various Bible versions. By the end of the course, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the reliability, authority, and enduring impact of the Word of God.
