COURSE OVERVIEW

Most people don't become effective leaders by accident. They grow through intentional learning, practical experience, and wise mentoring. The Biblical Studies Center's Certificate in Ministry Leadership provides exactly that.

Over two semesters, you'll build a biblical foundation for leadership while developing the practical skills needed to lead ministries, teams, and organizations with confidence and integrity. You'll learn how to:

  • Discover how God wired you for leadership.

  • Turn God-given vision into practical action.

  • Plan, organize, and execute with confidence.

  • Make better decisions—even when the answers aren't obvious.

  • Solve the real problem instead of chasing symptoms.

  • Build teams that trust one another and work together.

  • Handle difficult conversations and resolve conflict with wisdom.

  • Lead people—not just projects—with humility, confidence, and biblical conviction.

Whether God has called you to nonprofit work, pastoral ministry, church leadership, missions, or simply greater influence where you already serve, this certificate equips you with practical leadership skills rooted in biblical principles – and they’re skills you can begin using immediately.
