Michael Oswald, President of Michael S. Oswald, Chartered, has over 30 years’ experience in aerospace, construction consulting, and technology law. He co-founded The General Counsel, was Vice President and General Counsel for SRS Labs, Inc. and Lantronix, Inc., and served on leadership teams at two start-ups. He has advised on business law, contracts, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Michael earned his B.A. from U.C. Riverside (1977) and J.D. from Santa Clara University (1980). He is admitted to practice law in California, Idaho, and Colorado (inactive) and he taught at Western State University College of Law from 2004–2007.

Active in ministry, Michael completed advanced Apologetics training in 2018 and founded Ratio Christi’s Boise State University chapter in 2021. He was a board member of Genesis Community Health from 2013–2019. Michael and his wife, Malia, are members of True Hope Collister Church in Boise and have two adult children and one grandchild nearby.
