This six-hour class is designed to help participants understand, identify, and activate their spiritual gifts as described in the Bible. Each session will explore key passages of Scripture, such as Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4, providing a solid theological foundation for the gifts of the Spirit. Through teaching, discussion, and practical application, participants will gain insight into how God has uniquely gifted them to serve the Church and impact the world. Whether you’re new to the idea of spiritual gifts or seeking to grow deeper in your ministry calling, this class offers a path toward making a greater Kingdom impact.

By the end of this class, students will be able to:

1. Explain the biblical purpose and origin of spiritual gifts and how they function together in the body of Christ

2. Analyze the spiritual gifts presented in Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4, organizing them within a five-category framework

3. Apply multiple methods for discovering and confirming personal spiritual gifts

4. Develop a personal strategy for growing and using spiritual gifts effectively in ministry contexts

This course provides a foundation for understanding spiritual gifts and prepares students for Part 2: The Ministry Matrix, in which students will learn how spiritual gifts align with organizational structure for maximum Kingdom effectiveness.
