Laura Njoroge, Librarian and Editor

Laura Njoroge grew up in Montana dreaming of becoming a sign language interpreter. Although her professional goals have taken a different turn since then, sign language was the vehicle God used to move her out to Idaho State University Pocatello where she got involved in Chi Alpha Campus Ministries. XA had such an effect on her life that she ended up giving back 9 years to the ministry after graduation, 5 of which were at Boise State. Early on, her heart was drawn to reach out to international students and she has partnered with Intensive English programs to offer conversation groups and friendship to women who are new to this country. During her first 5 years in Boise, Laura also spent a lot of time tinkering with the library at the Biblical Studies Center. In the fall of 2017 during a ministry transition, Laura was invited to come on staff, officially, with the BSC to manage the library with a continuing focus on outreach to international women.
